VICTORY! Waverley Council votes to ban glyphosate use.

Effective immediately glyphosate will be banned in all sensitive areas inc Bronte and Tamarama gullies, around schools and aged care facilities.

By 2021 there will be a total council wide ban on all glyphosate use.

My Organic School has been lobbying council for 18 month to eliminate the use of this cancer causing toxin and we are thrilled that we finally have a positive result.

I've attached the speech I made to council on Tuesday night as a resource for any residents of other councils who would like to get glyphosate banned in their council's open spaces.
